You may know exactly what you’re after in a new bed. Or you may have no idea where to start. Our only goal is to get you back to bed – in superior comfort. Come in-store, see the ranges, try the beds and mattresses at your leisure and select your comfort choice. At Back to Bed our bed selection process is transparent and proudly independent.

Step 1.What is the bed’s purpose?

Get started by answering these questions:

How often will the bed be slept on? Every night, occasionally, short term?
What size bed are you shopping for?
Who will sleep on the bed? You, you and a partner, a teenager, a student in a flat, guests?
Which bodies will sleep on the bed? Tall, petite?
What mattress feel do you prefer? Soft, medium, firm?
Do you have a budget?

Step 2.Drop into our showroom

Comfort feels different to everyone. Try out the beds in-store, ultimately you are the only one that can make your comfort choice. Our experienced team are here to field any questions or give you space to browse our extensive range of beds at your leisure. As comfort specialists, we’re here to help narrow down the options and help you choose your new bed. Don’t hesitate to drop in and say hello.

Step 3.Test your preferred beds

It’s time for some fun! Take your time and try some options. We can help guide you with suggestions and help with price ranges.

Relax and try the beds. Reposition yourself to feel the comfort on your back and sides. It is often easier to feel the differences in comfort through your hip and shoulders.

Step 4.Buying a new bed

Congratulations! Finding the perfect bed is cause for celebration. Our friendly team can help you purchase your bed on the spot using convenient payment options.

If you can’t wait to sleep in your new bed, rest assured that our delivery times are speedy. We’ll arrange a delivery date that suits your schedule. Sleepyhead and Serta beds are made right here in Christchurch, we carry some stock and have a fast turnaround on most orders, our delivery team are in-house, we offer prompt delivery.

Step 5.Delivery

Deliveries are made week-long, Monday to Friday. Our in house delivery team provide morning or afternoon delivery options and our drivers will phone in advance in most cases, we use our own delivery vehicles to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.

Most beds priced at $1,000 or more come with free delivery to the Greater Christchurch area. Deliveries to other areas can be arranged on a case by case basis. Don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly team for a custom delivery solution if you live further afield.
